Reviews of "Living Yoga"
What People are saying about “Living Yoga.”
Divya Jyoti has fully absorbed the spiritual truths that I teach. Like a mother for her child, it gives me immense joy seeing her grow and evolve much farther than her own expectations. She is not only living the teachings, she is also helping others to learn, grow and progress spiritually. She is carrying on the teacher/disciple lineage of Sri Sivananda and passing on the yogic spiritual philosophy to her own students. This little book on Living Yoga will help those who really want to know what yoga is all about. It will help them transform and evolve.
I am happy that Divya has made the yogic philosophy her own and has become one with it. My loving blessings to her and to all her students on the spiritual path.

“Living Yoga” gives practical insight into the practice of yoga in daily life. It is very helpful and inspiring for spiritual seekers all over the world. The value of the book is further enhanced by the fact that it is to raise funds in the USA for the Atma Vidya Ashram for it’s humanitarian activities.
You have my blessings and prayers that your book may waft the aroma of Satyam-Shivam-Sundaram (Truth-Auspiciousness-Beauty) in the heart of spiritual seekers all over the world!
May God bless you, Swamini Lalitananda, and all those who are dedicated to charitable activities.
With regards Prem and Om,

The personal experiences of the author, Divya Jyoti, and her clear understanding and teaching of the philosophy of living yoga in daily life will resonate not only with the novice, but with people who have been living yoga for many years. Divya Jyoti’s simple way of explaining truth is enlightening and powerful and has personally helped me to reassess how I can stay on the path with strength and determination. Divya reminds us that we are all pearls on string with no separation from each other or God and that everything we do has a direct effect on everyone else.

Warning! This short and easily read book is deceptive in its simplicity! It's full of power and the glory of the divine! In sharing the ways in which she herself has applied the universal and basic tenets of yoga to her everyday real American life—a life to which anyone can relate—Patty (Divya Jyoti) DiFazio pulls the curtain back on deep spiritual matters and breaks it down into bite-sized, digestible spiritual food. If you have ever wondered what it is like to be a mystic in ordinary clothing, this combination of memoir and teachings will let you in on the experience. And if you have ever wondered HOW to become a mystic in ordinary clothing, this book is for you! Delve into the richness of yoga applied to your life beyond the physical practices most associate with the term. Patty DiFazio is a true "yogini"; take this walk with her through Living Yoga.

I started reading your book a couple of days ago. Tears have been pouring, not for sadness, but for joy. Only a devotee could have had such experiences as you had. Your autobiography on the background and explanation of what you went through on your spiritual journey is amazing, uplifting and most astonishing. Rivers of ink have been used to explain Hinduism, Vedanta and yoga, it’s teachings, use and applications by unnumbered scholars and pundits. Patty, you’ve outdone them all with the simplicity of your heart and love. In a simple and concise way, you’d make anyone that reads your book understand the message and put those teachings into daily practice.

“Living Yoga” by Patricia DiFazio is written in a lovely conversational style with personal stories which help illustrate the information presented on yoga philosophy, in a very simple, informative and accessible way. Divya takes us on her journey from the chapter on “Baby Steps” all the way through to “Look Within” with the message to embody your yoga…and she certainly does. “Go within and you shall find.”

Please send me ten copies of your book “Living Yoga.” I want to give it free to my next set of classes in June. It was a read so easy and inviting and real and useful and inspiring to me that I want to pass it on.

.I was expecting a book with all different yoga exercises, as I associate you with them from all these years of attending the retreat. But what a fantastic surprise! I was reading it in my back yard, I felt as if you were sitting in front of me and relating to me all those events. I could hear your voice and felt the warmth in my heart.”
